Meet Dr. Mo: The Woman Behind "The Dr. Mo Show"

Dr. Monique "Mo" Chouraeshkenazi is Founder and CEO of MD Educational Consulting Firm LLC. She oversees company's budget, partnerships, marketing, services, consultations, and government/university institution contracts. Additionally, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi develops the organization's strategic planning concepts in education, research, and development along with executing policies and regulations for the firm. She is also a professor, educator, researcher, published writer, and professional speaker. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is the Associate Professor for the School of Security and Global Studies for Homeland Security at American Public University System and Lead Professor for the School of Graduate and Degree Completion Programs for Tiffin University's Master of Criminal Justice department. She is also an adjunct professor for Southern New Hampshire University's graduate criminal justice department. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is a homeland security expert and contributor for In Homeland Security News. Her expertise rises from homeland security and criminal justice fields and she currently educates in national security studies, legal and ethical issues, and research design and analysis. She is a former Subject Matter Expert for Tiffin's national security and research courses and a former Antiterrorism Instructor for the United States Air Force.  

 

In addition to teaching, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is a former Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served over 13 years in the Cyber Security/Knowledge Operations and Security Management fields. Earlier in her career, she had a dual role in Antiterrorism and Security positions. Her experience and interests are in terrorism, homeland security, and national security studies. One of her most prominent and distinguished positions, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi served as the Enlisted Military Assistant and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge to the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Secretaries (now Secretary of Defense), Dr. Ashton Carter, Ms. Christine Fox, and Mr. Robert Work. She was also the former Military Executive Assistant to Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization Director, LTG John Johnson. 

 

Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is a certified Level II Antiterrorism Instructor and has various certifications in the information assurance, security, antiterrorism, and force protection fields. She has an A.A.S. in Information Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force, B.A. in Homeland Security from American Military University, Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University, and a career diploma in Private Investigation from Penn Foster College. Finally, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi earned a Ph.D in Public Policy and Administration degree program with a specialization in Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace from Walden University.
